Who we are

Our mission:
‘To love God, to love each other and to love our neighbours’

We are a group of believers in Christ who live in and around Willingham, brought together by the shared desire to worship and serve God in our communities. We number about 65 regular attendees at morning services, including children and young people.

We offer a variety of styles of services over each month including an ‘altogether’ service when the children stay in with us and a traditional service at 9am once a month followed by a more contemporary style service. Sunday Evening services are more contemplative and often include a time of open prayer. Sunday Club happens most weeks – JAM (Jesus And Me) for those under 5yrs, and JIGSAW (Jesus is Great, Super, Awesome, Wonderful), often including the use of Godly Play with the older children.

Prayer is an integral part of our Church Family life, and we have experienced many gracious answers to prayer, including healing. Prayer ministry is available after each Sunday morning service, and there is a weekly early-morning prayer meeting, attended by a faithful few.

Most of the Church Family attends one of our four Housegroups, which meet at various times during the week. These are an important part of our Church family life, encouraging spiritual growth, and providing a caring environment for Bible teaching, prayer and fellowship. Personal issues can be shared in a safe environment, and pastoral support offered.

As a church we are in membership with the Eastern Baptist Association, the Baptist Union of Great Britain, Evangelical Alliance and Christians Together in Willingham.

Our desire is to serve the God who has transformed our lives and given us a new sense of purpose showing us that there is more to life than we ever could have imagined. Why not come along and meet us? We’d love to see you.
